Audio Described (AD) Performances

For the performing arts Audio Description is a form of audio-visual translation, using the natural pauses in dialogue or between critical sound elements to insert narrative that translates the visual image into a sense form that is accessible to millions of individuals who otherwise lack full access.  Audio Description will not affect patrons who have not requested the service.

  • Contact the Box Office at (952) 979-1111, option four. Please ask for Wheelchair Accessible seating at the time reservation is made.
  • Reserve tickets online--Select seats marked with a wheelchair icon.
  • Spaces marked with a wheelchair icon DO NOT have an actual seat. These are open spaces meant for patrons using wheelchairs to pull directly in to.
  • Main Stage Seating Chart

Hopkins Jaycees Studio (general admission)

  • Reserve tickets online by choosing any available space. Please plan to arrive early to choose seats that accomodate your group size and needs. Seating begins 30 minutes prior to show start time.
  • Contact the Box Office at (952) 979-1111, option four. Please ask for Wheelchair Accessible seating at the time reservation is made.

PARKING for those with mobility limitations is available at the rear of the Hopkins Center for the Arts and on the street level of the public parking ramp.

Assisted Listening System

Hearing

Assisted listening devices are available for all Main Stage productions. Devices can be picked up at the Box Office beginning 30 minutes prior to the performance. We require a photo ID or credit card be held at the Box Office while assisted listening devices are being used.
