Home School programs

Through a variety of options, home school groups in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota can participate in performance-based workshops or explore non-theatre curriculum in a dramatic way. Introduce your students to the magical world of theater by coming to see a show or bring one of our teaching artists to your group.

Group Pricing for groups of 12 or more:
$10.50/person - evening and weekend performances
$7.50/person - weekday matinee performances

Artist Residency

We can design a flexible program custom-tailored to fit your needs and we come to you! Youth of all ages can build an appreciation of theatre as an art form while developing important social skills like leadership, teamwork, and cooperation. Our artists create a positive, supportive and nurturing atmosphere in which students are challenged to reach new levels of curricular understanding in and through the performing arts.

Home School Day

Wednesday, April 30
9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Stages Theatre Company invites all educators and students to Home School Day! Students and educators will attend a performance of Madeline's Christmas in December or The Reluctant Dragon in April. Following the performance, there will be a talkback with the cast of the show. After a complimentary lunch, the attendees will be divided into groups for hands-on workshops where students will learn the magic of theatre while educators are provided with resources and instruction for curriculum development. We'll wrap up the day with plenty of opportunities for questions and answers about incorporating the performing arts into your curriculum.

Cost: $7.50 per participant
Book a group and receive one free adult ticket per 20 student tickets.
A small reservation fee is required prior to April 30.
