The Reluctant Dragon

April 18 - May 18, 2008

Based on the book by Kenneth Grahame
Book and lyrics by Randy Latimer
 Music by Gary Rue
“Dragon, it’s a Dragon and he’s living on the hill,” the townspeople sing.  And yes, indeed, there is a dragon in the vicinity, and he’s been seen by the boy Will.  In fact, he’s been befriended by Will.  Send for the dragon slayer!!  This dragon, however, loves poetry, vegetables and making friends.  But it looks as if there’ll be a battle whether the dragon wants one or not.  This original commission by Stages Theatre Company from 1993 is one of the most-requested, well-remembered musical comedies in our history.  It is back by popular demand.  Perfect for all ages.
