One of the world’s best loved musicals bounds onto the STC stage this summer as plucky and positive Annie charms her way into your heart. Join her fun-filled adventure as she finds a new home with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his secretary Grace and a loveable mutt named Sandy. It may be a “Hard Knock Life” but Annie will never stop believing in “Tomorrow.”

BIOS

Ellen Anderson (Catherine) Annie jr is Ellen’s is second time on stage with Stages Theatre Company.  She previously appeared in The Snow Queen.  Ellen has appeared in productions with Minnesota Dance Theater/Minnesota Dance Academy. She is 12 years old and a student at Osseo Middle School.  “Special thanks to all the staff at Stages for this opportunity and to all my teachers at Escalate Dance and Theater Studio, you are amazing!”   

Faith Barrett (Emma) We are excited to have Faith back at Stages Theatre Company for her third production. She previously appeared in The Snow Queen, as well as our Next Stage: The Little Mermaid, Jr. Faith is 11 years old and a student at Orono Middle School. “Thanks to my parents, and my sister Ivy for helping me do this!”                  

Celia Birgy (Joyce) We are excited to have Celia in her Stages Theatre Company debut.  She is 13 years old and a student at Hopkins West Junior High School. Celia is a strong believer in magic, and yes, that includes mermaids and fairies. She would like to give a shout out to Abram, Esmae, Rose, and Zara Birgy along with her mom and dad. A very special thanks to Cheyenne and Janice, true friends, who have stuck by her side through thick and thin.           

Ava Byrne (Dog Catcher / Servant) Ava is back on stage with Stages Theatre Company for her fifth production, having previously appeared in One-Dog Canoe, Goodnight Moon, Junie B. Jones – The Musical, and A Charlie Brown Christmas.  She has also appeared in productions with The Plays the Thing Productions.  Ava is 14 years old and enjoys playing the violin and cello, and likes to read.

Kimora Collins (Kate) Kimora is making her Stages Theatre Company debut on the main stage. She has been a part of our FAIR School productions of Willy Wonka Jr., Shrek Jr. and Four Little Girls: Birmingham 1963.  Kimora has also appeared in productions with Children’s Theatre Company. She has studied jazz, tap, and ballet for seven years and enjoys playing tennis and golf, doing crafts and swimming.                              

Natalie Dekker (Lily) We are excited to have Natalie as part of her ninth production with Stages Theatre Company.  She previously appeared in Llama Llama Holiday Drama, Charlie Brown Christmas, Zen Shorts, Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer: The Musical, Little Mermaid Jr., and Number the Stars. Natalie worked behind the scenes in tech on Starry River of the Sky and Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse. She has also appeared in productions with Burnsville Civic Light Opera, Chaska Valley Family Theater, and Eagan Community Theater. Natalie is 15 years old and a student at Main Street School of Performing Arts. Thank you to my parents for always supporting me in absolutely every area of my life and helping me learn that I can achieve more than I thought was possible.”                              

Sophie Farrell (Tessie) Sophie is back at Stages Theatre Company for her fifth production, having previously appeared in Junie B. Jones – The Musical, Bear Snores On, I Love You Stinky Face and Next Stage: The Little Mermaid Jr. She has also appeared in productions with Hopkins High School.  Sophie is 12 years old and a student at Hopkins West Junior High School.  “Thank you to my family and friends who come see my shows and support what I love to do. Don’t wait for the perfect moment…take the moment and make it perfect.”      

Trevor Hendrix (Bert Healy / Mr. Bundles / Servant) Trevor is on stage with Stages Theatre Company for his third production.  He previously appeared in Bridge to Terabithia and Seussical.  Trevor has also appeared in productions with Off Broadway Musical Theatre, Morris Park Players, Cooper High School, and Robbinsdale Middle School.  He is 15 years old and a student at Cooper High School. He enjoys playing the saxophone, hockey, ultimate frisbee, and singing in choir. He would like to thank his directors at school and in the theatre world!

Maia Hernandez (Ruby) Maia Hernandez is excited to make her Stages Theatre debut. She has also appearing in productions with Jungle Theater, Guthrie Theater, Children’s Theatre Company, St. Anthony Community Theater, and Lakeshore Players Theatre. Maia is 11 years old and a student at St. Anthony Middle School. Her hobbies include track, rock climbing, learning Spanish, and playing the guitar and ukulele.

Zoe Hollander (Hazel / Understudy Annie) Zoe is excited to be returning to Stages Theatre Company for her fourth production. She previously appeared in Junie B. Jones – The Musical, The Little Mermaid Jr., and Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse. Zoe has also appeared in productions with Theater Latté Da and Hennepin Theatre Trust. She is 13 years old and a student at Robbinsdale Middle School. “I want to give special thanks to my family who has shown me continuous love and support. I’d also like to thank two of my amazing best friends, Arden and Ellie, for always making me laugh.”                 

 Reese Johnson (Page) We are excited to have Reese in her Stages Theatre Company debut.  She has been on stage with our FAIR School and Stages Theatre Company partnership in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Shadow Thieves, and Shrek, Jr. Reese is 12 years old and a student at FAIR School. “I have so much support from my family. Besides my mom and dad, my grandparents have been so helpful in getting me where I need to go and encouraging me!”

Clare Judge (Boylin Sister / Servant) Clare is returning to Stages Theatre Company for her 10th production.  She previously appeared in Junie B. Jones – The Musical, Number the Stars, Snow Queen, Twelve Dancing Princesses, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, Owl Moon, Seussical, Llama, Llama Red Pajama, and Bridge to Terabithia. Clare is 15 years old and a student at Minnetonka High School.  She would like to thank the wonderful staff at Stages and all of her dance teachers for giving her incredible opportunities.  She would also like to thank her parents and brothers for driving her to rehearsals everyday, and her dog Josie as she makes her stage debut!

Molly Kruger (Seller / Boylin Sister / Servant) We are excited to have Molly appearing in her first production with Stages Theatre Company.  She has also appeared in productions with Blue Water Theater Company, Off Broadway Musical Theatre, and Plymouth Middle School. Molly is 14 years old and a student at Armstong High School. When she is not on stage, Molly likes to play piano, softball, volleyball and hang out with her friends. Molly would like to give a special thanks to her family and friends for always supporting her.

Marilee Mahler (Miss Hannigan) Marilee was employed full time at Stages from 1996-2009, and worked on more than 50 shows as an actor, stage manager, choreographer, and director. She even designed props for a few shows!  “Stages Theatre Company (formerly Child’s Play Theatre Company) has played an incredibly important role for me and my family. I had the opportunity, as an employee, to perform with, direct and/or stage manage all 4 of my own children; who have all pursued college degrees in theatre! The loving support of my husband has allowed all of us “creatives” to chase our dreams. Thank you and I love you!  I want to give an enormous thank you, also, to Sandy, who continues to support both young and not-so-young dreamers!”                          

Bridget Miller (July) Bridget is back at Stages Theatre Company for her third production, having previously appeared in The Snow Queen and Next Stage: The Little Mermaid Jr.  She has also appeared in productions with Hopkins High School.  Bridget is 12 years old and a student at Hopkins North Junior High School.  “I am so happy I took conservatory classes at Stages and want to thank all the teachers for their great instruction, and I am grateful to have this awesome opportunity.  Special thanks to my family, especially my parents, for all their support.”       

George Mulder (Rooster / Lt. Ward) We are excited to have George back for his fifth production with Stages Theatre Company and is also a STC First Job in the Arts apprentice.  He previously appeared in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, Twelve Dancing Princess, The Little Mermaid, Jr., and Junie B. Jones – The Musical.  George has also appeared in productions with Minnetonka Theatre.  He is 17 years old and a student at Eden Prairie High School. “Special thanks to Dixie Rairamo for teaching me how to dance and to my parents for always supporting me!”                               

Greta Nackerud (Cecille / Star to Be) We are excited to have Greta back at Stages Theatre Company for her fifth production and is also a STC First Job in the Arts apprentice. She previously appeared in One Dog Canoe, Goodnight Moon, Bear Snores On and Number the Stars. Greta has also been in productions with St. Louis Park Middle School. She is 15 years old and a student at Mainstreet School of Performing Arts. “I love reading, hanging out with friends, and because I never want to grow up, I love playing make-believe with my younger cousins. Besides acting, writing is my passion and I hope to be a published author someday.”

Rhianna Picht (Grace) We are excited to have Rhianna in her ninth production with Stages Theatre Company.  She previously appeared in Annie jr (2011), Duck for President, Madeline’s Christmas, Diary of a Worm, a Spider and a Fly, CinderEdna, The Wiz, and The Little Mermaid. Rhianna also worked tech for Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and Aladdin Jr.  She is 17 years old and a student at Eden Prairie High School. “I’m excited to be working on this show for the second time at Stages. It’s been an amazing journey! Thanks for all the support from my friends and family!”

Abby Renyolds (Helen) Abby is returning to Stages Theatre Company for her second production, having previously appeared in The Snow Queen.  Abby has also appeared in productions with FAIR School Crystal, Robbinsdale Middle School, Off Broadway Theatre.  Abby is 13 years old and a student at FAIR School Crystal. She loves taking voice lessons, dancing at Escalate Dance, gymnastics, crafts and hanging out with her friends. Abby would like to thank her parents and sister for all their support, rides and ice cream stops.

Caiah Rodgers (Annie) Caiah is appearing in her second production with Stages Theatre Company.  She previously appeared in The Wiz.  Caiah is 14 years old and a student at Central Middle School.  When I was younger, I was diagnosed with a childhood cancer called leukemia. I am now cancer free and it has always been my dream to become a singer and/or be cast as lead role in a musical or play.  My special thanks goes to my mom for always believing in me and pushing me to achieve my dreams.”                        

Bruce Rowan (Daddy Warbucks) Bruce has been with Stages Theatre Company since 1992.  He has worn many hats over the years, including Manager of New Play Development, from which he recently retired.  He has appeared in many productions including Llama Llama Holiday Drama, Duck for President, A Silent Night for Peef, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical.  Bruce has been lucky enough to perform alongside his wife Sharon, and sons Jake and Nate in many Stages Theatre Company productions.

Ethan Schaner (Drake / Seller) Ethan is making his Stages Theatre Company debut in this production.  He has appeared in productions with Theater Latté Da, Pantages Theater, Main Street School of Performing Arts, and Illusion Theater.  Ethan is 14 years old and a student at Main Street School of Performing Arts. “I would like to give a special thanks to my Grandma “Nana” for always being there for me when I need it.”       

Hannah Seeman (Pepper) Annie jr is Hannah’s third production with Stages Theatre Company. She previously appeared in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical and A Charlie Brown Christmas. Hannah has also appeared in production with Children’s Theatre Company, Minnetonka Theatre, and Excelsior Elementary School. She is 12 years old and a student at Minnetonka Middle School West. “Special thanks to Mom, Dad and Clare.”                 

Ellie Turk (Duffy) Ellie is back at Stages Theatre Company for her eighth production.  She previously appeared in The Little Mermaid, Jr., Junie B. Jones – The Musical, James and the Giant Peach, Aladdin, Jr., Owl Moon, Seussical Jr. and Bridge to Terabithia. Ellie has also been in productions with the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Chaska Valley Family Theatre, and Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School.  She is 15 years old and a student at Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School. “Special thanks to my mom and dad and sisters Maddie and Josie.” 

Josie Turk (Molly) We are excited to have Josie in her second production with Stages Theatre Company.  She previously appeared in Twelve Dancing Princesses.  Josie has also appeared in productions with The Ordway, Theater Latté Da, and Chaska Valley Family Theatre.  She is 10 years old and a student at St. Huberts School.  Josie participates in gymnastics and dance.  She would like to thank her parents for supporting her theater activities and her sisters for being role models.
