Warm-up this winter as Bear and all his friends cozy up in our imaginative new musical! On a cold, stormy winter night, one by one, a whole host of animals venture into Bear’s cave to warm up. But even after the tea has been brewed and the corn has been popped, Bear just snores on! Come see what happens when he finally wakes up and finds them having a party!

Teagan Bowar (Benita the Badger) Teagan is back on stage with Stages Theatre Company, having previously appeared in One Dog Canoe and Zen Shorts. She also appeared in productions with SteppingStone Theatre, Palmer Lake Children’s Theatre, and King’s Players. Teagan is 17 years old and in the 11th grade at Osseo Senior High. “Thanks to my parents for supporting my love of the theatre and for funding my tea habit.” “Don’t save something for a special occasion. Nick Cecchi (Mick the Mouse) We are excited to have Nick in his Stages Theatre Company debut. He has also appeared in productions with Morningside Theatre Company. Nick is 12 years old and in the 6th grade at Valley View Middle School. He enjoys listening to music, acting, writing, playing piano, and building robots. “Special thanks to everyone that got me to Stages Theatre Company! Special thanks to my family and friends for supporting me.”
Nicholas Dekker (Harrison the Hare) Nicholas in appearing in his fifth production with Stages Theatre Company. He previously appeared in A Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, Llama Llama Holiday Drama and Lily’s Purple Plastic Purse. Nicholas has also appeared in productions with Chaska Valley Family Theater, Prior Lake Players, and Children’s Theatre Company. He is in the 7th grade at St. Michael Catholic School, and enjoys video games and reading. “Thanks to my sister for getting me to give acting a try and to my parents for their help and support!”
Sophie Farrell (Mollie the Mouse) Sophie will be appearing in her second mainstage production with Stages Theatre Company, having previously appeared in Junie B. Jones – The Musical. She was also a part of our Next Stage: The Little Mermaid Jr. Sophie has also appeared in a production with Hopkins High School. She is 11 years old and in the 6th grade. “I love to dance, sing and hang out with my friends. I want to thank my mom and my dad for encouraging me to do my best and always being their for me.”
Ki’Shya Graham (Millie the Mouse) We are excited to have Ki’Shya making her Stages Theatre Company debut. She has also appeared in productions with Capri Theater. Ki’Shya is 13 years old and in the 8th grade at FAIR School, where her favorite subject is English. She also enjoys dancing, acting, and a little singing.
Emma Kempf (Edgar the Raven) Emma is back for her second show with Stages Theatre Company, having previously appeared in Goodnight Moon. She has also appeared in productions with Blue Water Theatre Company and St. Louis Park Middle School Theater Program. Emma is in the 9th grade at St. Louis Park High School, her favorite subject is Environmental Science, and she likes stripes! “If you don’t live on the edge, you will never see the view”
Sara Magnuson (Gloria the Gopher) We are excited to have Sara in her Stages Theatre Company debut. She was also part of our Next Stage: The Little Mermaid Jr. Sara has also appeared in productions with Anthony Middle School. She is in the 8th grade at Anthony Middle School, and would like to give a special thanks to her friends and family who have been very supportive of this opportunity. “A head full of fears has no space for dreams.” – Unknown
Greta Nackerud (Mumford the Mole) Greta is returning to Stages Theatre Company for her third production. She previously appeared in One Dog Canoe and Goodnight Moon. Greta is 15 years old and in the 9th grade at Main Street School of Performing Arts. She loves to read and write, and hopes to publish a book someday. Greta was a competitive swimmer until she discovered her true passion….acting! “I’d like to thank my arts teachers at MSSPA for your guidance and my mom and dad who support me in all the things I do.”
Camille Norman (Winnie the Wren) We are excited to have Camille in her Stages Theatre Company debut. She has appeared in productions with Orono Middle School and Blue Water Theatre Company. Camille is 14 years old, in the 9th grade at Benilde St. Margaret’s, and her favorite color is pink. “Thanks to my family and friends for all their support!”
Brent Teclaw (Bear) Bear Snores On marks Brent’s 30th production with Stages Theatre Company. His first show here was Peter Pan when he was 10 years old. Most recently Brent appeared in Junie B. Jones – The Musical and Twelve Dancing Princesses. He has also worked locally with the Ordway Theatre, Guthrie Theater, Old Log Theater, Bloomington Civic Theatre, Actors Theatre of MN, and Theatre in the Round among others. Brent holds a Theatre Performance degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
