Stages Theatre Company believes that theatre is fundamental to child development and overall quality of life. Every individual, regardless of economic circumstances, geography, or ability, should be able to experience the joy, wonder, and benefits of participation in the theatre arts. Accessibility is a core value of Stages Theatre Company and we are committed to removing any and all barriers to accessing our programming.
Each season, we offer performances with various accessibility services to over 135,000 individuals including: ASL Interpretation, Audio Description, Sensory-Friendly performances, assisted listening devices ,and wheelchair accessible seating.
Activities at Stages Theatre Company are made possible in part by a grant provided by the Minnesota State Arts Board, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature from the State’s general fund and its arts and cultural heritage fund.
