New School year, New focus! Does anyone else like to make a big goal at the beginning of the school year? Like the teacher I am, I prefer school year goals over New Year’s resolutions. Last year, my goal was “New Friends, New Places.” The focus lead our Education program all over the state and making new partners with new friends, trying new things. I learned so much! So this year, I don’t want to think about spreading out, I want to think about looking inward. My goal is to really look at all of our programming and ask…
‘HOW CAN WE BE BETTER AND SMARTER FOR OUR FAMILIES AND SCHOOLS?”
So let me know! If you have any ideas, send them my way! What are we missing that prevents your family from being able to join in? Or your school? Let’s find solutions!
To that end, I’m so excited for what Conservatory Director, Jeannine Coulombe has prepared for this year’s offerings. We have classes for ages 6-7, 7-8. 9-11, and 12 up! There’s even a new Musical Theatre focus with a fall class and a spring academy! Check out where your young actor fits in here: JUNIOR CONSERVATORY: Musical Theatre (Ages 10-12)
Also our preschool offerings are popping! Saturdays are for parents who want some structured fun with their little one with Preschool Play-A Day. A new author every month makes this commitment an easy one to make for all of your busy families. Check out your options here: Preschool Classes.
Little Stars Academy starts soon too and Miss Katharine has big plans for exploring theatre, music, and art with your littlest littles, ages 2-4. And coming soon, we have a tour for daycares and preschools inspired by Theatre For the Very Young and Play-a-Day! We will come to you for Sensory Experience Theatre that uses the social power of play to learn and explore. Look for our SET Play announcement soon!
