This heart-warming new musical will have you hugging your loved ones a little tighter and laughing with glee as the imaginative child snuggles onto our main stage this spring! Before drifting off to dream land, the ever-inventive child has a few outrageous questions, but the devoted mother replies to each and every one with wit and love. Come follow this delightful tale through the heart of imagination. It will have you believing in Green Aliens from Mars, Super Stinky Skunks and even a Droopy-Eyed Cyclops.

Logan Baker (Robot Sam/Cyclops/Swamp Monster) Logan is on stage with Stages Theatre Company for the first time.  He appeared in productions with Blue Water Theatre, Plymouth Middle School, Fringe Festival, and Top Hat Theatre.  Logan is in 6th grade, and enjoys doing impressions, perfecting accents, and singing songs from Broadway musicals. When Logan is not on stage he enjoys playing golf, baseball and the saxophone. He wants to thank his family for all of their support and rides to the theater! “Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened.”

Taylor Breimhorst (Bunny Boo/Cyclops) Taylor is making her Stages Theatre Company debut!   She is 13 years old and in the 7th grade.  Taylor is a brain tumor survivor, and in her spare time she raises money for kids going through cancer treatment with The Pinky Swear Foundation.  Taylor enjoys singing, camping, arts and crafts.  “I want to give special thanks to my family and friends for supporting me through my journey with my illness and getting me here, to my teachers at the Stages Acting Conservatory for helping me learn the art of acting, and to the cast and crew of the show. Together we fight.  If you fight you may lose, if you don’t fight you already have lost.”

Carley Clover (Gator/Alien/Cyclops/Swamp Monster) We are excited to have Carley back at Stages Theatre Company for her third production.  She previously appeared in One Dog Canoe and Junie B. Jones – The Musical.  Carley has also been in productions with the Guthrie Theater, Theater Latté Da, and Lyric Arts.  She is 11 years old, is in the 6th grade and enjoys dance, crochet, read, and playing the piano.  “Special thanks to my family and friends for their continued support!”

Lucy Daniels (Banana Monkey/Cyclops / Swamp Monster) We are excited to have Lucy in her Stages Theatre Company debut.  She has been on stage with our FAIR School and Stages Theatre Company’s partnership, and appeared in our Next Stage: The Little Mermaid Jr.  Lucy has also appeared in productions with camps and school productions.  She is 13 years old, is in the 7th grade, and considers theatre her team sport!  Lucy would like to thank her family for instilling in her the importance of theatre and music. “Even miracles take a little time.” – Fairy Godmother (Cinderella)
Sophie Farrell (Gator/Alien/Cyclops/Swamp Monster) Sophie is returning to Stages Theatre Company for her third production, having previously appeared in Junie B. Jones – The Musical and Bear Snores On.  She has a been part of Stages Theatre Company’s production of Next Stage: The Little Mermaid Jr. Sophie has also appeared in productions with Hopkins High School.  Sophie is 12 years old, in the 6th grade and enjoys tap dancing, singing, and spending time with my family.  “Thank you to my family and friends who come see my shows and support what I love to do. Don’t wait for the perfect moment…take the moment and make it perfect.”

Natalie Rene Harrison (Gator Commander/Alien/Cyclops/Swamp Monster) We are excited to have Natalie appearing in her third production with Stages Theatre Company.  She has previously appeared in Goodnight Moon and The Little Mermaid Jr.  Natalie is 15 years old and in the 9th grade, and has also appeared in productions with Minnesota Opera and CMS.  Special thanks to my family and friends who unconditionally love and support me throughout all I do. Also my voice instructors (Cayla Schwendemann, Dale Kruse, and Ellen Meier) for having such a wonderful impact on my life and helping me grow as a singer and person.”

Gabi Jones (Dino/Cyclops) Gabi is back at Stages Theatre Company for her third production, having previously appeared in Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse and The Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom.  She has also appeared in productions with Yellow Tree Theatre, Minnesota Centennial Showboat, Sabes JCC, Young Artists Initiatives, Off-Broadway Musical Theatre, and SOAR Regional Arts.  Gabi is 17 years old, in the 11th grade, and loves traveling. She hopes to one day join the Peace Corps!  “Courage is not the absence of fear, but knowing there’s something out there of greater importance.”

William Maus (Gator/Alien/Cyclops/Swamp Monster) We are excited to have William in his Stages Theatre Company debut.  He has previously appeared in productions with Chaska Valley Family Theatre.  William is 13 years old and in the 8th grade.  “I would love to thank Stages Theatre Company for giving me this incredible opportunity, and my piano teacher, Candace Sather, for always pushing me to do my best.  Also, a big thanks to my parents for supporting me and my passion for acting.”

Liliana McQueen (Plaid Kitty/Cyclops) We are excited to have Liliana on stage with Stages Theatre Company for the first time.  She has appeared in a production of Snowy Off-White and the Eight Little Dudes.  Liliana is 11 years old, in the 5th grade, and enjoys inventing, acting, gymnastics and dance.  “A special thank you to my first director, Kevin Dutcher, for getting me started in acting!  And to my friend Joselyn for telling me about auditions!  And to my mom for signing me up for auditions and getting me there!  “Live the life you love; Love the life you live.”

Lindsay Odegaard (Mama) Lindsay is making her Stages Theatre Company debut.  She is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a B.A. in Theatre Arts, and has appeared in productions with Great Plains Theatre, Highland Summer Theatre, and Minnesota State University, Mankato.  “Special thanks to my family and friends for always supporting me to pursue my dreams. I love you all “no matter what”, “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”  – Dr. Suess

Abbie Sluka (Rainbow Tucan/Cyclops/Swamp Monster) We are excited to have Abbie on stage with Stages Theatre Company for the first time.  She has previously appeared in productions with Homeward Bound Theatre Company and Eden Prairie Central Middle School.  Abbie is 15 years old, in the 9th grade, and plays the flute with the Eden Prairie High School Marching Band.  She loves to sing, act, draw…really anything to do with the arts. “Special thanks to my parents for encouraging me in everything that I do, to the carpool moms for helping with driving, and to Stages for providing this amazing experience.”

Clea Gaïtas Sur (Child) Clea is returning to Stages Theatre Company for her third production.  She previously appeared in The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, and A Charlie Brown Christmas.  Clea has also appeared in productions with theatre e3 and St. Anthony Community Theater.  She is 11 years old, in the 5th grade, and enjoys playing the piano and the ukelele.  “I would like to thank my family and friends for supporting me.”

Adeline Wendt (Pomeranian Poof Hound/Ms. Anna/Cyclops) Adeline is returing to Stages Theatre Company in her second production, having previously appeared in Lily’s Purple Plastic Purse.  She has also appeared in productions with The Children’s Theater Company, Pillsbury House, Concordia University, Public Dreams Theater, Nimbus, Cerulean Show Boat and Chameleon Theater.  Adeline would like to thank Tammy Cohen and Ryan Underbakke for helping her build confidence with her dancing and immersive acting.  Adeline is a proud granddaughter of a White Earth Nation Ojibwa Tribe Grandparent.  “Opening your heart and being courageous and telling people that you care about them or like them or that you think they’re special only makes you a better, bigger, kinder, softer, more loving person, and only attracts more love into your life.”  – Amy Poehler
