Peter Morrow has worked as a composer, sound designer and teaching artist for the last eleven years. He moved to the Twin Cities from Dublin, Ireland in August 2012 where he worked as a music teacher in a school for students with autism for 5 1/2 years. There he also worked with the company Brokentalkers, devising new works that have toured extensively. He currently works with several theatres for young audiences in the Twin Cities area as a teaching artist. Since moving to Minnesota he has worked with companies, theaters and artists including New Native Theatre, Bedlam Theatre, Theatre Latte Da, Swandive Theatre, Workhaus Collective, Artistry, Interact, Pillsbury House, Pangea World Theatre,Ifrah Mansour, zAmya, Macalaster College, Hiponymous, Red Eye Theatre, The Playwright Centre and The Guthrie Theatre. He also works as a tutor for students with autism and as a PCA.
At Stages Theatre Company, Peter has been working with the CAST Program for four years and has been part of developing the curriculum which is noted on many national platforms. For the summer CAST session, Peter also serves as designer and mentor for ASD youth who are serving as interns. He also works as a composer and designer for Stages. Favorite shows here include the sound design for The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane and The Velveteen Rabbit.
